An Afternoon in Maida Vale | 07-29-09

On Saturday 25 July, a-ha were at Maida Vale Studios in London to do an interview and live performance on the Dermot O'Leary show. Here are some pictures from the session.

Morten, Magne and Paul arrived at Maida Vale in the early afternoon to rehearse before the broadcast. The session began with Dermot introducing the band and asking a few questions. a-ha then played 'The Sun Always Shines on TV' and 'Riding the Crest'.

There was a short break while other music was played on air, then Dermot spoke with the band a bit more, relaying questions fans had submitted via e-mail. Next a-ha played 'Foot of the Mountain' and a cover of Depeche Mode's 'A Question of Lust.'

Following another brief interval, Dermot asked the band a final series of questions. To close the session, a-ha played three more songs, 'Take on Me', 'Analogue' and 'Hunting High and Low'.

The session is available to listen to on the Radio 2 website until August 1.
